The Tasteful Details:
1st Course:
Breaded Prawns paired with Santa Maria la Palma – ‘Aragosta’ Vermentino.
This white wine, Aragosta Vermentino, made entirely from the Vermentino grape, is grown on the coast of Sardinia, by Santa Maria la Palma, where seafood is taken very seriously. Delicately fruity, and easy to drink, it has fragrances of aromatic herbs and wonderfully refreshing acidity.
2nd Course:
Mista Salad paired with Barone Fini Pinot Grigio.
This wine is from Valdadige, Veneto, Italy- Dry and crisp with characteristic almond overtones, this 100% varietal wine features lively fruit flavors and a smooth finish.
3rd Course:
Bucatini Amatriciana paired with Zonin Montepulciano D'Abruzzo
This wine is from Abruzzo, Central Italy. It has a brilliant, attractive and warm ruby red color. Dry on the palate and gracious, with delicate and soft veining and a fine, harmonious balance.
4th Course:
Ribeye Amarone (pictured above) served with potato casserole with broccolini and asparagus paired with Alexandria Nicole Cellars "A Squared" Cabernet Sauvignon, Horse Heaven Hills, Washington State.
This wine is multi-layered from start to finish, flavors of Washington's famous Rainier cherry, black olive and cedar continue to gain depth and richness with time in the glass. It is vivid on the tongue with excellent depth and structure while the opulent texture in the mid-palate and the refined tannins add a seamless, elegant purity to the fruit that frames the finish nicely.
5th Course:
Tiramisu paired with Butera Nero d'Avola.
The Nero d'Avola varietal is unique to Sicily, and delivers bold fruit, spices and an intoxicating earthiness.

Head Chef Ernesto Magdaleno has been in love with the art of preparing Italian Cuisine since 1999.
He trained in Little Italy in New York.

He was the Chef at Bacco's in Southfield for 7 years.
Chef Ernesto uses only the freshest foods and shops daily, you will be able to taste the difference!!
